Grace's Restaurant & Bar

Grace's Restaurant caters for a la carte dining on Monday – Saturday evenings and is open for breakfast every morning. Guests dining in the restaurant can admire the stunning camellias, while in summer benefiting from the cool shade the garden provides.

There is a focus on contemporary Australian cuisine and the use of local, seasonal produce including the herbs from our own herb garden. The beverage list features local wines and beers.

Grace's Restaurant has a seating capacity of 80 people in a la carte dining and up to 110 people for functions. It is conveniently situated on the ground floor, just metres away from our complimentary car park and next to the hotel bar area.

Functions & Meetings

Are you thinking about having a function or meeting soon? Let our professional function staff assist you in planning your next event, whether it be a small boardroom discussion, lecture, seminar, cocktail party, barbeque or sit down banquet lunch or dinner.

The Veale Gardens Room is suitable for a meeting of up to 30 people set boardroom or U-shape style, or 50 people theatre style. The room is ideal for cocktail parties of up to 60 people, has superb views overlooking the parklands across the city, its own bathroom and three walk out balconies contained within.

The Victoria Park Room is suitable for holding meeting of up to 15 people boardroom or U-shape style, and 30 people theatre style. The room has superb views overlooking the Adelaide Hills, its own bathroom and two walk out balconies contained within. The Victoria Park Room can also be used as a break out room.

The Himeji Gardens Boardroom is suitable for up to 8 people boardroom style. This room is adjoined to an accommodation room and can be used as a suite or alternatively is hired on an individual basis for small meetings or seminars.

The Pool Terrace is an outdoor private function area suitable for barbeques* and cocktail parties in the warmer months. We can cater for up to 50 people cocktail style or up to 30 people with seating for a barbeque lunch or dinner in this area, with umbrella shade on hot days. *Please note the hotel caters for all barbeque functions with a professional chef, there is no self-catering or self-cooking.

Within walking distance of the Veale Gardens and the Himeji Garden, both stunning locations for wedding ceremonies and wedding photography, Hotel 208 is the perfect place to hold your reception on your special day.

Our restaurant features contemporary Australian cuisine, a local wine selection and we offer a personalised, professional service in all aspects of catering for your event. The hotel also has 3 private rooms available for various function requirements. We can also cater for barbecues, cocktail parties and lunches.

As part of our wedding package, we are pleased to offer the bride and groom complimentary accommodation on your wedding night, with a bottle of sparkling and chocolates in the room.

Hotel 208 can also assist wedding reception guest’s with their accommodation requirements, by offering specially discounted rates.
The hotel boasts ample complimentary parking, hotel and motel style accommodation to suit every budget, rooms with mini bars and great views over the city and to the Adelaide Hills.
